Service Description

Thank you for your interest in my daytime retreats. Join me and like-minded individuals to spend a couple of hours learning about mindfulness techniques and nature therapy. Benefits include: • improved concentration and memory • regulation of blood pressure • reduced stress, anxiety and depression • boosted natural killer cells which exist in our body to fight off infection and viruses • stimulated immune system • enhanced sleep • lift in mood and • increased creativity The daytime sessions comprise of: • basic mindful meditation techniques either on the lawn or inside the hall at Middlewood House (depending on the prevailing weather) • a short woodland walk incorporating an introduction to nature therapy • useful tips for self-practice • a relaxation session • and a tea ceremony with time to socialise with others What to bring: - an old yoga mat, plastic backed picnic blanket or similar if you have one - a blanket to keep you warm if needed - a small cushion or similar - a drinks bottle of water - comfortable clothes - an open mind!
